WHAT IS COSMETIC DENTISTRY?
Cosmetic Dentistry is generally referred to as any dental work that improves appearance but not necessarily function.
However, Cosmetic Dentistry is not a designated specialty. The ADA (American Dental Association) recognizes nine specialties that require advanced education. Cosmetic Dentistry is not one of the nine.
Unfortunately, many dentists choose to advertise themselves as “Cosmetic Dentists.” The truth is, any general dentist can hang a shingle and pay for an advertisement touting themselves as a cosmetic dentist. With that said, Dr. Busacca has been extensively educated and is highly experienced in performing a variety of cosmetic-related procedures. We will take the time to fully explain every cosmetic technique, set realistic expectations, and answer all of your questions.
“My dental experience with Dr. Busacca was a pleasant one. The sedation that I received worked for me, and I am more than happy with the results. Now when I smile, I don’t feel self-conscious, because it looks very natural. I only wish I would have done it sooner. Thanks Dr. Busacca (and staff).”
